Nicaragua El Diamante, Blanca Nieve

Blanca Nieve owns and runs Finca El Diamante entirely on her own, one of the first farmers to join Gold Mountain Coffee Growers after her old cooperative fell apart from mismanagement. Since then she's tripled the size of her farm, rebuilt her wet mill, added solar drying structures, and even funded life saving surgeries for her grandchild, all while producing volume that somehow still rivals small microlots for quality.

That quality shows up clearly in the cup. Apple and cherry brightness up front, honey sweetness running through the middle, easy to drink and endlessly reliable. It's the kind of coffee that quietly wins competitions instead of shouting about it, having picked up multiple Golden Bean medals on filter, straight espresso, and milk based espresso.
